Dear friends,
We are happy to inform you that St Charalambos’ Church, following deep cleaning and sanitisation, will open again for public worship on Sunday 4th October 2020.
The Church Committee recognises the concerns of parishioners and the wider community and confirms that every precaution has been taken to minimise the spread of the virus and to ensure the safety of all. Please comply with the instructions of the Church volunteers and, if you feel unwell or have been asked to quarantine, stay at home.
We encourage ongoing vigilance in the face of the pandemic and localised outbreaks. Everyone should maintain social distancing measures and exercise good personal hand hygiene. For more information, please refer to: https://www.gov.uk/.../covid-19-guidance-for-the-safe-use...
Finally, let us all repent and ask for forgiveness, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord and let us keep on praying that God will have mercy on us and deliver us from this fearful virus and all other sorrows and calamities.
