Supporting  your  Church

Dear friends in Christ,

We strive to be a source of comfort and inspiration for those who come through our doors, and a beacon of hope for the wider community. But without the support of our community, we may not be able to continue our work.

We humbly ask that you consider supporting us with whatever you can spare. Your donation will help us continue providing a place of worship, guidance, and support for our community in these difficult times. We firmly believe that together, we can make a real difference and ensure that our church continues to thrive for generations to come.

We hope you will consider continuing to support your church.  We are cutting costs where appropriate. One of the easiest and most effective ways to support us is through setting up a standing order.  The relevant form can be found here.  Setting up a standing order is an easy and effective way to support us. Your regular donations provide us with a reliable income stream that allows us to plan our activities and budget more effectively. By donating through standing orders, you are helping us to reduce administrative costs and direct more funds towards the support of the church.

If you are a UK tax-payer, please consider gift aiding your donation. We can claim 25% more on top of any donation you make at no expense to yourself. The gift aid form can be found here .

Your donations will enable us to meet the costs of the upkeep of the church while serving your needs. Thank you for your support.

We are committed to using your donations responsibly and transparently. We are registered with both the Charity Commission and Information Commissioner's Office, ensuring that we operate within the law and regulations governing charities. We are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of transparency and accountability, so you can trust that your donation is being used to support the community you love.

You may not be aware that, as a Church, we receive absolutely no money from the UK Government (except for Gift Aid tax refunds of course). Neither do we receive any funds from the Governments of Greece/Cyprus. Though in Greece and Cyprus there might exist financially robust churches, we are not a wealthy church and we receive no support from the Church of Greece or the Church of Cyprus. Here at St. Charalambos' all the parish’s costs, such as heating, lighting etc are paid for by you through your generous and prayerful giving.  God has blessed us before and He will bless us again. He is the provider for all our needs.

Let us join together to support each other and pray that we may know God’s presence and share it with others.

We thank you in advance.

"Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you!"

[2 Thessalonians 3:16]
